Pushovers of Maine - The Indoor Overshoe

About the Pushovers (Click here to watch our video)

HISTORY- Long ago in Eastern Europe an over-the-farm-boot / shoe slipper was slowly evolving. Made of wood, wool, woven rags and other local leftover materials. In Russia, scrap wool was boiled, made into felt & shaped into clogs used to cover muddy farm work boots. One day, working people were invited to enter the famous museum in St. Petersburg with its marvelous marble inlaid floors. Imagine the officials' plight...if left on, the muddy boots would destroy the floors...if taken off...a disaster! VOILA! The early felt boot cover!

BENEFITS- Made of recycled, dense synthetic felt, these "Pushovers" have several unique yet functional features:

- A still open vamp for ease of entrance by the boot/shoe and a soft bottom that will slide but not slip.

- The "MAGIC FLIP-UP HEEL", for optional fit. Just flip it up for level changes and / or longer personal use! Service men and other contractors, coming in and out!

- When not using the heel, shoe slides along the ball of the foot. When using the heel the small NON-SLIP under the the heel stops any slipping.

- Additionally they are perfect for keeping your feet warm while at the computer or at the hockey ring, watching the kids.
